Friends

"It's sweet when someone remembers every little detail about you, not because you keep reminding them. But because they pay attention to you.."

We came across with millions of people in our lifetime but not all are true friends. Some are passer-by, stepping stones and of course, true ones. But out of millions, how many are true ones? In a group of friends, there are sure givers and receivers. Being a giver sure have a more tedious task than a receiver.

To me, I seems to be a giver more than a receiver. But it also means that I am most likely being taken granted for. At times, I really hate it but I cannot help it to be a devil. Having someone to be able to remember every little detail is really sweet and that is also what I have been yearning for. After doing so much, what is wished for is just a return but most of the times, it turned out to be disappointments. Not being mind to go on that extra mile, surprising one for his/her birthday, making handcrafts to cheer him/her up when they are down, and the list goes on..

Doing it once or twice, people will find it sweet. When you overdo it, you're taken granted for. That is also where disappointment overflows me...
