Working towards perfection

This entry will be a short update for the 21 weeks of FYP. (hope it is not too boring)

Alright, starting off with all my lovely companions during these 21 weeks. First of all, it will be this UHU glue! For the 3 logbooks, I used up to 5 glue-stick. A little too much but yes, that was the case. And the little smurf that motivated me to do my logbooks!
And definitely, this MP logbook! I think my group was too off as we all exceeded 1 book. It definitely weighs a million!
This was the work-cell I sat on for 21 weeks. Despite the desktop being super lag, over all, it still helped me somewhere, somehow.
Here are some pictures we took when we were bored during our technical sharing.

Hi ninja friend!

Thank Koli, for drawing this and this was my desktop wall paper. Well, she said this is me. hmm..
And here, this is when lady is at work. Ladies can make good engineers too okay!

When one is busy with research, the work-cell can turn a little messy.
Hi babe! You have been a great friend in school! You made my 3 years in poly so much happier!
"File file file" was the main thing we have to do.

How crazy we can get early in the morning!

This can turn be blind..
This was my best companion for the 21 weeks of weekends. Reports and logbooks.
We were even given a chance to visit the Composite Conference to gain more knowledge about Composite materials.
When we were too bored and we started to fold paper areoplane. We even said this can be our prototype for our project.
This was what happened when our supervisor told us to discuss and draw out our proposal when he went for a meeting.
This was how I look like when I am in the composite lab. We were all immune to the smell when our project was nearing the end.
and of course, it is the sweetest thing when friend bought us bean curd as tea break.
This was our self-made signage. We have got the engineers mind!
During all these weeks, I was glad to be able to attend gfs' graduation ceremony. :)

This is our solar panel charger!
The worst thing being an engineer is to be dirty. So if you wants to be an engineer yet don't like to get dirtied, think twice! It was a great experience sanding all day long.

And of course, engineers got injured easily.
So this was roughly how I spent my 21 weeks in school. A rather bitter-sweet process and a neither long nor short process. It was not easy but I was glad I have a great supervisor, great team members and awesome peeps around to accompany me.

There were times I felt like giving up, I felt so tired of this routine but there were times I felt all these were worth it. The greatest thing during this FYP was that when we proved that we will harvest what we sowed again and again. Firstly was after PR1 and now it's after PR2. Those praises really made us felt so relieved and gave us the motivation to do better.

Supervisor might be strict at the beginning but he was really a very good supervisor. I must really thank him for giving us so much pointer, so much guidance and sharing with us his life experience. About 14 more weeks to judging and now the new aim for the group is to "work towards perfection". Shall have a great break this holiday and give myself fully when school reopens. Last semester in school before graduation! Way to go, hy!

Xoxo,
Janice
